Inspiration

From time to time things jump out at me and I start to hear stories, characters, and plots. This song has always spoken to me. Specifically the lines, "In your world, I have no meaning/though I'm trying hard to understand."

Those word sound like a painful confession of someone's most private fear.
On the flip side, it could also be the beginning of a dangerous obsession after being dumped. 
Hmmmmmm... which way could it go? Depends how it speaks to me.
